John Deere 401B

I bought this tractor in 2014 with and box-blade.
This is a "
Flip" project for resale.

I cleaned the tractor and repaired a few small items; and later sold it.

John Deere 330 (Summer of 2015)
Note: This was not intended to be a "Flip" project but turned out to be in the end.

The JD 330 is equipped with a 16HP Yanmar 3-cyl liquid-cooled diesel engine. Mower attachment is a 50" mid-mount mower deck (not shown). The below left photo is as I purchased it.
With 1996 hours on the meter, it was all original, with the exception of the seat and right front tire.

The below right photo was taken after installing a new seat & JD grill badge.

Fall, 2015

My first project was to build a 3-point hitch. I searched the web for ideas & measurements.
After purchasing some of the needed material, I began the fabrication.

Having used the tractor for a while, I removed the fender deck to clean underneath.
While this was being done, I decided to freshen it up a bit.

Front Push Blade

I purchased a 4' WARN blade and fabricated a front mount. Below are photos of the fabrication.
It should be complete in a few days. All material used is from my scrap metal pile.
I did purchase the 2" receiver tube and hydraulic cylinder.
Now that I have a larger tractor(John Deere 750), the 330 was sold to a gentleman from Florida.

John Deere 750 (Mar. 2018)
Another "Flip" tractor
I purchased this 20 HP (1984-year model) 750 in March 2018. It had no battery and the clutch stuck from sitting up.
Once I got it home, I changed the air filter, engine oil & filter, hydraulic oil & filter, and cleaned the trans./hyd. suction screen. I also drained the fuel tank, replaced the fuel filter and replaced the flex fuel lines. A good battery was installed, and I had to clean the starter solenoid contacts. After solenoid repair, the injection system was bled, and the engine started and ran as it should. I then began the refurbishment to prepare it for resale.
John Deere 750 as purchased. $700.00 March 2018.
1190 hours on the Hour Meter.

Radiator cap tested and held to 9 psi.

Nov. 2020

I purchased this 1966 John Deere 110 Lawn & Garden tractor. It's no beauty, but for 54 years old, it's relatively solid.
Other than some light surface rust, the metal is very workable, and it has most of its original parts intact. Not sure what the future holds for it. It may end up being a fixture in my John Deere collection.

August 2021

1953 John Deere model 40S.
I drove to northern Missouri (8/20/2021) to purchase this tractor.
I've been searching for a Model 40S for more than 35 years, preferably a 1953-year model, as that's the years I was born. This one hit the mark. I purchased it with a 1960, Number-20 John Deere Dort Scoop. The previous owner refurbished and took great care of it. Thanks, Lowell.

This will be my Show & Parade Tractor.
